Scattered Pieces

No matter how difficult he can be, Justin Shaw loves his son. Raising him alone after his mother died wasn’t easy, but with the support of his family and friends, Justin has made it work. When Ben starts kindergarten, Justin hopes he can finally relax, but the challenges Ben faces at school make Justin realize their struggles are just beginning.

Malachi Armati has always felt like the odd-man out. Too intense. Too awkward. Just too downright weird. Finally settled into a career he loves, his colorful past is hidden by the conservative clothes he wears every day. Teaching special education has been his salvation, but he can’t help but feel like he’s still missing something.

When Ben is placed in Malachi’s support classroom, the two men form a tentative friendship. Both reluctant to risk their hearts, Justin and Malachi learn that sometimes you have to bend a little in order to put together the pieces.

The first in a series of full-length novels focused around several couples in a small Pennsylvania town. Coming Fall 2019. Sign up for my newsletter to be informed when it releases!
